DAY 1 Tokyo NRT 20:00

Welcome to JAPAN !
You will be met up with our guide at Narita InternaEonal Airport and transferred to the hotel.
On the first day, please relax and ease your body for upcoming exciEng tours.

DAY 2 Tokyo AM 10:00 – PM 7:00

Tokyo Sightseeing Tour : Tsukiji Market, Odaiba Area, Team Lab. You will join an evening Cycling tour (PM5:00 ~ PM6:30)

At Odaiba, we will take you to the latest a]racEon called TEAM LAB BORDERLESS. Enjoy the spectacular art with latest technology in 10.000 sq exhibiEon space. Cycling Tour is conducted by a professional cycling guide.

DAY 3 17 Jul Tokyo

Free Eme in Tokyo. The guide is on stand by for any assistance you may require

DAY 4 18 Jul Toba / Ise AM 9:30 – PM 4:30

Ader the check out, you will get on the Bullet Train known as Shinkansen to Nagoya. From Nagoya, change the train to the local Kintetsu Line to Ise, Mie prefecture. We will take you to Ise Shrine where local people strongly believe that it is not only the most important but also the most sacred Shinto shrine.

DAY 5 Toba / Ise AM 9:30 – PM 4:30

Today, you will be accompanied by a local guide at Toba city to enhance local experience. The tour may include : Sea Kayak at Toba harbor, local walking, Lunch at Ama Hut.

DAY 6 Kumano Kodo Walk AM 9:00 – PM 5:30

A private coach takes you to Nachi, the main gateway of Kumano Kodo. From Nachi you take a walk to Nachi Fall and walk up to Kumano Hongu Taisya. This place is so spiritual and surrounded by the deep forest. (2 hour walk) Ader walking, have a rest at Hot Spring. At Nakanoshima Hotel, you can enjoy Shiatsu Massage at your room.(payable at the hotel)

DAY 7 21 Jul Tokushima/Naruto AM 8:00 – PM 6:00

You will enjoy the great view of Kii coast line from the coach and go around Kii peninsula to Wakayama. From Wakayama you will take a ferry to Tokushima, Shikoku Island. (approx.2h) Upon arrival at Tokushima Port a private van will be waiEng for you and you will visit Naruto Bridge observaEon.

DAY 8 Takamatsu/Naoshima Island AM 9:00 – PM 5:00

Did you have a relaxed Eme and enjoy breakfast? let’s try SUP near by the Naruto Bridge. Ader SUP, you get a shower at the hotel and check out. At Takamatsu you will join UDON making class. Takamatsu area also known as Sanuki region is famous for UDON noodle. The arEsan will teach you how to make and cook UDON in a tradiEonal way. Ader eaEng your own UDON, take a ferry to Nao Island. Upon arrival at Nao Island, leave your luggage to the shu]le bus and you. will rent a bike Take a nice 20 min cycling to the Benesse Hotel.

DAY 9 Naoehima Island

Naoshima(Nao Island) is an island in the Seto Inland Sea that is known for its modern art museums, architecture and sculptures. If you have Eme you have a bike to go around the island ! We do not make any plan today so cycling around the island or visiEng museums would be nice. Museum informaEon : Benesse Museum (free for the staying guests) Chicyu Museum (need a reservaEon 2.060 yen p.p.) Lee Ufan Museum (need a reservaEon 1.030 yen p.p.)

DAY 10 24 Jul Kurashiki AM 10:00 － PM 5:00

May be take a walk in the morning before check out. Have a relaxing morning. Ader lunch, you will ride a bike back to the port while your luggage is transferred, then take a ferry to Ube port and get on a private van to Kurashiki. At Kurashiki, take a nice walk in Bikan Area where is designated as an aestheEc area.

DAY 11 Kyoto / Miyama AM 9:30 – PM 5:30

Take a bullet train to Kyoto and a private van will take you to Miyama District. The thatched village or Kayabuki no Sato is the most visited a]racEon in Miyama. Almost the whole village is composed of old thatched houses and is carefully maintained as a cultural heritage site. You can walk around the village and enjoy the atmosphere and the breathtaking views of the thatched roofs with a mountain backdrop.Overnight stay at a minshuku within the village will give you the most authenEc taste of village life.

DAY 12 Kyoto PM 12:00 － PM 5:00

Free Eme in the morning, walk around the village or try an opEonal tour. (OPTIONAL) Ader lunch, we will take you to Arashiyama Area for sightseeing. You will visit Togetsu bridge, Tenryuji Temple and Bamboo forest for a nice walk.

DAY 13 27 Jul Kyoto AM 5:30 – PM 4:00

Start early this morning to experience Zen Buddhism at its best in a private atmosphere ? In the Ichijoji area of the city, situaEng a Zen temple that is totally overlooked even by the Japanese but undoubtedly worth visiEng to say the least with its garden enjoying every aspect of disEncEve four seasons. The temple offers a 2 hour Zen trainingfrom 6AM before its daily opening. Experience Zen meditaEon, preaching, simple breakfast, you name it in the hidden private temple. Highly recommended for someone looking for something authenEc because this is exactly it.

Ader the Zen Experience, we will take you to Kurama. From Kurama to Kifune, you will enjoy walking in deep forest. (2h) At the goal Kifune, lunch over the river will be waiEng for you.(OPTIONAL)

DAY 14 Kyoto

Free day in Kyoto. If you wish to visit Miho Museum in Shiga, we will arrange a half day tour. Either way, meet up with the guide in the evening for maiko dinner. End your trip to Japan in the most gorgeous, interesEng, iconic Japanese way possible.

Meet up with our guide at 5:30 PM for Exclusive Maiko Dinner for the last night !

DAY 15 Kansai International Airport

Transportation

Private Van
We will arrange either Toyota Hi-Ace (9PAX) or Grand HiAce(10PAX) for a private van. For airport transfer, we may
arrange Micro Bus for extra luggage.
Bullet Train (Shinkansen)
We will arrange business class seat (Green Car) for Shinkansen.

Luggage Transfer (included)

Because in Shinkansen and other trains, there is limited space for luggage and we will arrange luggage transfer service from Tokyo to Toba, Toba to Kurashiki and Kurashiki to Kyoto.

Food arrangement

Tour includes 13 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches and 9 Dinners.
At included dinners, alcohol drinks are to be paid by the guests apart from Maiko Dinner as
well as a drink in a fridge.
The guide will assist and if necessary make a booking for a dinner.
If the guide is needed to a]end for a dinner, please kindly pay for the cost.

Although a chance to encounter a maiko has become widely available to travelers, there is nothing more special than going to a teahouse where only the locals are accepted. We can be a bridge between tourists and such a teahouse to set up an exclusive dinner with a maiko, the country’s most sought-ader and yet li]le known icon.
